WEEKLY
PAPERWORK
For the first week, you will be provided
an updated rule book as well as all of the envelopes and score sheets for the session.
Please keep them handy—along with your master list during the first 4 weeks. Each team will be provided pre-stamped and addressed envelopes to MAIL IN your scoresheets and checks.
Please drop in a real postal box to reduce mail carrier delays. NEVER mail cash. We would rather have you catch
up on fees the following week.
Beginning with week 2, you must have one
person on the team print off an updated N&N and team roster for the upcoming shoot.
We will not be delivering paperwork to the bar weekly. The website will be up to date on Sunday of each
week.
CALL POCKET
Call pocket means that you call your ball to the pocket. You need to communicate clearly with your opponent so they know which pocket you’re aiming for and
which ball you will be putting there.
You’re allowed one “non-communication” per match. So if you don’t communicate clearly and your opponent says “is that what you meant to do?” You can say yes, but after that if they call you on it again during the match, you
will lose your turn (it does not result in ball in hand unless a normal foul has been committed).
- If you call a ball and it
goes off another ball, but still in the pocket you called…you continue shooting.
- If you call a ball and it
goes 4 rails, but still ends up in the same pocket you called…you continue shooting.
- If you call a ball and it
doesn’t go in the pocket, but another one of your balls goes in…you lose your turn. The ball that dropped remains down, but because the ball you called didn’t go in the pocket you called…it’s
a loss of turn.
As a reminder, with call pocket a handicap of 2 does get 4 time outs per game. The rule book and score sheet have been updated to reflect this change.
Normal ball in hand rules do apply. So
be sure to pay attention to your match!
